Selfless animal advocate needs help with her own!

You have an animal in need? You call Paula. You found a badly injured animal? You call Paula. Since middle school, Paula has ALWAYS been the person we call when we have questions, problems, or emergencies when it comes to all animals, especially dogs. She’s always there for everyone who needs her. Now it’s our turn to help someone who only helps others-she’s not one to EVER ask, she doesn’t know I’m even doing this for her, but she’s in a rough place right now financially and I want to do whatever I can to help her.

Paula recently closed on her first house after going through an absolutely horrendous divorce, and since moving in a few weeks ago, she’s had to replace several appliances unplanned, had hvac issues that weren’t discovered in the inspection, and also had a pipe burst which did damage to several things in her house. On top of this, her beloved dog, Mona, bloated, which is an immediate death sentence for large breeds-and extremely painful and expensive. Paula did every single thing she could to save her best friend, her protector, and her greatest confidante, but the writing was on the wall and she spent her last hours on earth with Paula by her side. Paula has always had a special bond with her dogs, and spent countless hours with this dog-training, competing, and even having puppies. I have always had tremendous respect for Paula and the fact that she will always find a way, but with all the unexpected expenses, and then the death of her best friend, she could use a little help so she can give her a proper burial, especially since her children were not allowed to say goodbye to their beloved pet.

All of us are struggling in one way or another job, so if you’re able to help a single mother have life be a little bit easier and kinder to her, it would be appreciated more than words can explain. You’re truly helping a fighter in this world, someone who always makes it through and helps others without question.
