Self-Portrait of Sarah Bednarek Sculpture Funding

As many of you know, Sarah Bednarek was an accomplished and beloved sculptor working in Brooklyn after earning her MFA in Fine Arts at VCU. She had numerous exhibitions, both group and solo, over the course of her career. In my humble esitmation (I was her partner) she was a stone cold genius. In 2009, she was diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer, and it nearly killed her. She managed to beat cancer, while working with indefatigable persistence even while undergoing chemo therapy and other treatments, until December 24, 2019, when she finally succumbed to complications of the cancer metastisizing to her lungs. 

Sarah completed her self-portrait in clay just before she died. After her passing, I arranaged to have it cast. The funds that were to pay for it, however, were not available. At the conclusion of the initial round of this campaign, I merely paid the difference. This was a considerable hardship and any additional funds donated to reimburse me would be greatly appreciated.
