Selina Mahkewa Recovery Fund

The original GoFundMe was for our late mother, Molly Talas. We miss her dearly and our hearts will forever be broken. We thank you for your generosity and appreciate all who have helped.

We decided that we should continue to collect any monetary funds for our sister and our nephews. They were also injured in the motor vehicle accident and have been hospitalized since then. As a family we are deeply hurt by this tragic incident and hope that we can gain a sense of clarity once we are able to obtain all the information we can. The monetary funds will be used to help our sister while she is out of work. As well as any traveling expenses that they will incur while they attend physical therapies and appointments.

My sister Donna is an amazing sister. She is so helpful when the family needs her. She is always someone that we can lean on and talk to when we need some venting. Our sister is also an amazing mother to her three boys. She rarely goes anywhere without them and enjoys being around her kids all the time. We want our sister to get stronger and better for herself and for them. She enjoys dancing and having fun fishing and being outdoors. Your donations will help her feel less like the world is on her shoulders and focus on herself to be better. Our nephew is still recovering and will be needing much needed therapy for the months to come. We want him to have the best care he possibly he can receive to get back to his enjoyable self. BJ is a curious little kid. He enjoys the outdoors, baseball and basketball. He is such an athlete and we hope that he will continue to fight to gain his-self back.
