Semper Fight: Marines Battle Against Cancer

Semper Fi! We're rallying around a true hero, my dad, Mike Caruso, who has been valiantly fighting bile duct cancer since January 2022. As a Marine, he's faced many challenges with courage and resilience, and now he's facing his toughest battle yet.

Despite enduring two rounds of grueling internal radiation, ongoing chemotherapy, and immunotherapy, the medical bills keep mounting. Even with insurance, the cost of treatments, medications, and uncovered expenses is overwhelming.

My dad, who recently welcomed two precious grandbabies into the world in 2023, continues to work full-time, but the relentless treatment schedule forces him to take numerous sick days and time off for appointments and procedures.

Through it all, he maintains his indomitable spirit and infectious sense of humor, inspiring us all with his strength and determination. With 32 years of unwavering love from his devoted wife and the support of his three children, family, friends, and caring neighbors, he's not fighting alone.
