Send a Hero Back to Normandy-Honoring WWII Veteran Ceo Bauer

Meet WWII Veteran Ceo Bauer, a man whose service and sacrifice contributed significantly to our freedoms. Several years ago, while filming in Normandy, I witnessed firsthand the profound gratitude the French still hold for their liberators. It was during this time that I met Ceo, thanks to Florent Plana—a dedicated historian working to preserve these heroes' stories (more about his work here: [https://ww2veteransmemories.org]).

Ceo’s interview became a central part of our documentary as he shared his thoughts on the war and how people treat veterans today. This year, we have the honor of accompanying Ceo back to Normandy for the 80th Anniversary of D-Day. He will be the lone WWII

representative of his division, the 95th, during a special plaque dedication and several commemorative events.
