Send a Random Girl 2 Nursing School

So, I was hungry...I had a long day and didn't make dinner plans. I decided I'd hit the local Popeyes... It's been a while. If I hadn't been hungry, I'd probably be sleep soon. So, when I get to the drive thru (why is 'thru' even spelled that way) window, I notice the girl is obviously tired. So, I sympathize and relate my fatigue to hers... they are nowhere near the same. So I ask, "what do besides this?" "Nothing," she says, "but I'm 'bout to go back to school."
"Oh yeah?" I say. "What you gonna go to school for?"
"Nursing," she said.
"What kind of nurse?" I ask.
"It don't even matter!" she said with desperation.
I could see she was so done with the fast food thing. Even still, she was polite and respectful - far from the typical employee at this same location. Although I admit, it's been a while since I'd been.
I drive off and pull up to my house a few minutes later (yes, it's that close...). I eat my chicken in front of the house (I said I was hungry). And as I messily crunch on some really untasty fried chicken, I get this idea. What if I got some friends together and we put this girl through school to get her CNA license?
I don't know her. Never seen her before today. Nothing. The thought just dawned on me. I have about 1300 or so "Friends" on FB, I think. If I put the call out there, maybe people would want to do something kind for this random young woman. So I'm doing something a little different than I've ever thought before.
I did a little internet search for how much it costs. Looks like about $1500 would put someone through a CNA Course, pay for taking the test, and the license. (Anybody who's a CNA, is that right??)
I figured if I could get about 300 of my FB friends to put up $5 each, we could do it no problem. I'd do a Facebook live broadcast presenting her with the gift if we pulled it off. Just a random act of kindness from a few hundred strangers.
Anybody down?
Yes, I'm serious.
