Alvaro Sanchez, Guatemala, is the graphic anchor of GLOBAL ART PROJECT a 90 member collaborative collective of artists working in all media operating in 17 countries. His powerful graphic imprint propels our exhibitions, residencies and ongoing projects and has done so since 2013.

Now, we take the opportunity to support an incredible opportunity and advancement in his art practice , a well deserved opportunity offered by the prestigious Retroavangarda Gallery in Warsaw, Poland that recognizes the importance of this emerging artists work as they advance the output and exposure of Latin American artists like no other European Gallery. Gifts allow Alvaro to travel to and from Guatemala City to Warsaw October 12 - October 18, 2024 and covers his lodging and related accommodations.

Alvaro : "I think these shows for Latin American artists are really important for not only our careers as artists but for the fact that it's an opportunity to put my country on the map for a lot of people that don't think of Guatemala as a place with great art. So I think this is why I really need to prove that we are doing good things here."
