Send Amber to Argentina

I am stepping through an open door to spend a month in Cordoba-Cachi, Argentina with Sam & Carita Masters and Sasha & Maria Silvia Rasmussen, who are Global Partners with my church here in Kansas City. I will experience life and mission in the urban setting of Cordoba and the rural mountain setting of Cachi . I will also join the college group as they travel up into the mountains beyond Cachi to serve the local schools.


I am super excited about this cross-cultural experience before going to John Brown University in the Fall. Here are just a few of the ways I hope to grow from this opportunity:

• Mentoring by people that partner with my church and are longtime friends of my family.
• Making new friends who have much to teach me as I serve with them.
• Applying principles I recently learned from the Perspectives on the World Christian Movement course I took with people from my church.
• Building on my cultural studies for the International Baccalaureate Diploma.
• Being stretched as a person and Christ follower.
• Growing spiritually as I transition from high school to a Christian university.
• Learning as much as I can from the dedicated people I will be living and working with for a month.


The $1,700.00 I am seeking to raise by June 20, 2017 will go to my airfare. You will help me get to Cordoba and back. In between I am praying God will use me, stretch me, and grow me.
