Send Chris Nagy to World University Games

Hi all! My name is Chris Nagy, I am currently a rising senior studying Computer Engineering at the University of Minnesota. I specialize in distance freestyle events, having qualified for the NCAA Division I Championships in the 500 and 1650 yard freestyle in both 2022 and 2023, placed in the top 8 in the 1500m free at both the 2021 and 2022 US Summer Nationals, named to the 2021-22 USA National Junior Team, and qualified for the 2024 US Olympic Trials in the 800m and 1500m free.

I now have the honor of representing the USA in swimming at The World University Games in Chengdu, China this summer. This event will draw in over 10,000 competitors across 18 different sports from more than 100 countries. This year, however, the athletes are individually responsible for covering the cost of the trip, and that includes flights, lodging, and meals. The goal is to raise $5,000 to help cover the expenses. Every donation, no matter how small, is greatly appreciated, and would go toward making my life-long dream come true–to represent the Stars and Stripes internationally!
