Send Denise Diaz to London

I’d first like to thank you for taking the time to consider the possibility of donating. My name is Denise Diaz and I am a current senior at Colton High School. I have been apart of the Varsity Cheer team since my freshman year. During my last two seasons we attended USA Camps that give the opportunity to tryout to be an All American, which is a cheerleader that demonstrates the worthy spirit and leadership. If chosen, the cheerleader is invited to cheer at a selected event. Last year I was the only athlete chosen from my team as an All American and was invited to participate in the Pearl Harbor Memorial Parade in Hawaii. Yet, due to funds I was unable to attend. This past July at camp I was again selected as an All American with the opportunity to travel to London to participate in the 2023 New Years Parade. Considering this is my senior year, we are really trying to raise the funds to send my mom and I on the trip. We are trying to raise a little over $7,000 through different means of fundraising and donations. Your donation would not be in vain as I am a dedicated student and community member. I am currently the 2023 Senior Class President and National Honors Society President at Colton High School. In addition, I have been Top 5 of my class for all of my high school career, keeping a consistent 4.5 GPA. On top of this I was apart of Majority Leader Eloise Reyes’s Young Legislator Program and have spoken at her press conferences as well. These are just some of the few things that would allow me to greatly represent CJUSD and the city of Colton in London as an All American. I hope that you will take our request into consideration and help make my goal to cheer in London possible.
