Send Dothan Rookie All Stars to the World Series

My name is Kyle Faulk and I'm one of the coaches for this awesome baseball team, Dothan American Ozone Rookie All Stars.

We are State Champions now and are trying to raise money to send this team to the World Series!


We play our regular season at James Oates park in Dothan, AL. in the Ozone division of Dothan American League. These kids earned a spot on the All Star team from their exceptional play during the regular season.

Last week, our All Star team travelled to Oxford, AL to play in the State Tournament. We didn't know how long we would remain in Oxford and just booked rooms for 4 nights in hopes we would make it that long. We ended up having to change hotels for our 5th night because we kept winning.

We finished the week off with a win and each player and coach became a State Champion. We are so proud of our accomplishment last week and the memories each kid made during the week. We are so thankful to each parent who had to take off work during the time of this tournament.

After winning the State Championship, we received an invitation to the World Series 11 hours away in Texarkana, AR on July 22nd. We never dreamed we would make it this far and certainly didn't plan on making this trip.

We accepted the invitation and said we would figure out how to help these families pay for it later.

That is the reason for this gofundme.

We would like for anyone who is interested to help with travel costs for our kids and their families (Fuel, hotel stays and eating out each meal for 5 nights).

It is our hope that each kids family can bring their parents and siblings with them to join in this 'Once in a lifetime experience'. And we hope that financial burdens will not limit any of them making this memorable trip.
