Hi, I am coach Madani,
First Robotics Competition high school team 9426 "clawbotics" qualified for the FIRST robotics world competition in Houston, Texas, April 17 to 20, by winning the Rookie All-Star Award at the regional competition in Las Vegas last Saturday. We are extremely honored as a team to be going to the world tournament, +900 teams from 45 countries, and 50,000 attendees, but there is one slight setback, funding.
In less than 2 weeks we must raise $17,000 to maintain our robot, and to pay for travel, lodging and meals while in Houston.
Staying Positive, throughout the ups and downs of the season, maintaining a positive mindset has been key. It's what kept us pushing forward, even when things got tough. Believing in ourselves and each other has been our greatest strength. This season we've faced our fair share of setbacks, but our optimism has helped us bounce back stronger every time. Instead of dwelling on failures, we've treated them as valuable lessons, learning and growing from each experience.
Clawbotics is the only team from Northern Nevada ever to qualify for World Competition, and the team did it in their rookie year. Clawbotics is also the only Washoe County School District FRC (First Robotics Competition) team.
Please help us reach our goal,
Thank you, clawbotics,org
