Send Idlewild Elementary Chess to Nationals

The Idlewild Elementary School Chess Team have worked incredibly hard. They practice three times a week after school. They've won the Regional Championship, took second in the State Championship, and are preparing to go to the National Elementary (K-6) Championships in Columbus, Ohio.

The school is helping to cover their registration expenses, but the 14 kids (and their families) are still on their own for travel expenses, lodging, a team room, and meals. This is a definite barrier to some of the team, and we're trying to ensure that it won't be.

We're trying to gather support from the Memphis, Idlewild, and chess communities to help send all 14 kids to Nationals. Thanks for your participation!
