Send Jason to Canada to represent AFL Ireland!

Hi, my name is Jason and I am fundraising for an upcoming trip to Toronto, Canada at the start of August this year. I got selected to represent the Irish Warriors (Irish Australian Rules Football National Team) in an international tournament called 'The Transatlantic Cup'.

This tournament will run from August 2nd - 11th and will involve nations from North America, South America and Europe! I have been playing Aussie Rules for just over 2.5 years now, since my flatmate introduced me to it. Ever since, I have been on trips at club and international level to places like Cardiff, Manchester, Hamburg, Paris, etc. Aussie Rules has become a huge passion of mine!

Aussie Rules is an amateur sport worldwide (except in Australia) and so there is limited funding. I will be using donations to help cover costs such as flights, accommodation and team gear/kit. Flights are roughly €600 to and from Toronto. I am getting my accommodation for two weeks for the great price of €275. And the Irish Warriors Gear/Team Kit will cost me €150. There are other minor costs such as travel to London to play against Team GB & France in June, as well as travel costs to training sessions in Cork and Dublin (the 2 hubs of Irish AFL).
