Help get Julia to Debate Camp!

Please help a VERY worthy student!
Hi, I'm Saya Abney, and Julia Dias is my debate partner. We are rising Seniors and the team captains (and the only Varsity team) of our high school policy debate team in Sandy Springs, GA. Please help us raise money to send Julia to one of the top college debate camps this summer, so that we can reach our two goals for the 2017-18 year:
1. Learn enough this summer to continue teaching and coaching our Novice and JV teams, and
2. Qualify for the Tournament of Champions (TOC) and get to eliminations - our school has never made it to the TOC!

Our Students Coach Other Students
Our team doesn't currently have a full-time debate coach. Although we have two wonderful faculty sponsors who accompany us tirelessly to tournaments so that we can compete, neither have policy debate experience. We have a community coach who comes to help the novices an hour a week when his work schedule permits, and halfway through this year, we were lucky to find two college debaters who now coach Julia and I at tournaments. However, Julia and I are responsible for coaching our Novice and JV teams at our after-school practices and during tournaments. This year, two of our novice teams placed 1st and 3rd at a local tournament with our coaching!
Despite the Odds, we are Nationally Ranked!
Julia and I were able to represent our school for the first time this year at both the Georgia Varsity State Championship, where we won the 3rd place title, and at the National Debate Coaches Assoc. Championships, where Julia received the 8th Speaker award, and I received 15th Speaker out of 168 debaters. Our success has our whole team energized, and we want to keep this momentum going.
Why do we need to attend Debate Camp?
Because we don't have a full-time coach and we need to spend most of our weekday practices coaching our novices, debate camp is a necessity for us so that we can learn as much as we can over the summer.
However, camp is expensive. While Julia was able to secure a partial scholarship from U Mich, she still needs to raise about $3,000 for camp. She is by far the hardest working person I know - as an immigrant from Brazil, she is debating in her second language, and in just two years of debate has managed to become ranked 8th at Nationals! Her mom, who works long hours as a housekeeper, and Julia are both working extra hours this summer to raise as much as possible, but they can truly use some help.
Please help her achieve her goal of camp. Any funds left over after funding Julia's camp costs will go directly to helping our team's expenses during the school year.
Thank you for your Support!
