Hello everyone, I paid two different people to run and manage my campaign back in June. They both took my money and did absolutely nothing to get at least get one person to donate to my campaign. But my mom always told me, if you want something done right you gotta do it yourself. With that being said, I'm asking that you guys share this with your family and friends. Lets make history and help future athletes along the way. With every donation, you get a personal training session!!!!
The race to the 2021 Olympics in Japan is on and I intend to hurdle my way there!
At 44 years old, I have been an elite track athlete for most of my life. I was a two-time high school state champion in the 300-meter hurdles and then won a collegiate national championship in college, along with receiving All-American status every year while attending the University of Georgia. Then after my first year on the professional track circuit in 2003, I became a member of the 2004 USA Olympic Outdoor Team as an alternate and a member of the 2004 Indoor World Championship team that was held in Budapest, Hungary. I also made an appearance at the 2008 and 2012 Olympic trials and was in peak condition for the 2016 Olympics when I suffered an almost fatal traffic accident and was unable to continue...but with two years of rehabilitation and an unwavering faith in God, my journey will continue to a historic 2021 Olympics in Tokyo, Japan!
I was raised in Marshall, Texas by an amazing woman who taught me the value of persistently pursuing my dreams and never giving up. Before I was born, my mother was shot in the head by an abusive partner and given a slim chance of survival. But with rehabilitation and a lot of prayers, my mother pulled through and was left partially paralyzed.
But this never stopped her from living her life to the fullest and she even began dating again. She eventually met my father and became pregnant with me! Doctors urged her to abort the pregnancy due to her disabilities and the risk of birth defects, but thankfully, she refused, and with prayers and family support, amazingly I was born perfectly healthy; a true “miracle baby”!
My mother set the example that with courage, faith and total focus solely on training, I can bring home Gold for all Americans to celebrate!
I need to raise $68,000 in order to concentrate 100% of my focus solely towards my training so that I can compete in the 2021 Olympics in Japan and continue to build Power Elite Performance Track Club of which I am a proud member.
100% of monies raised will go to:
● Providing gear and the rental of outdoor training facilities for not only myself but for the track team and athletes of the Power Elite Performance Track Club.
● Travel, hotel, and track meet accommodations.
● Food, transportation, etc.
● Renting space in an indoor gym facility for when it rains and cold weather training.
With your generous support, I can reach my Olympic dreams and represent our beautiful country in the 2021 Olympics. Your donation/contribution will allow me to put 100% of my focus on training and bring home the Gold for America!
I am not your average 44-year old and with your support nothing will stop me from reaching my goals. I am more than ready to take on the challenge of training daily. Sponsors have turned their backs on me due to my age, that is why I am seeking support from people like you who understand that age is just a number and does not represent my ability to not only attend the Olympics...but WIN GOLD!
