Send Lexi to NYLF Explore STEM summer camp!

Hello!

Lexi has been invited to attend the NYLF Explore STEM summit. She has chosen to go to the July 31st -August 5th session at University of California, Berkley. All of her hard academic and leadership work got her a nomination for this prestigious event. While there, she will interact with kids from all over the United States, and they will learn and work together to bring STEM to life – by planning a mission to Mars! Lexi hopes to be placed in her first or second choice of concentration groups – Forensic Science or Medicine and Health Care. The kids will learn about several areas of STEM and get placed in one of the four concentration groups, but they will all be working towards an end project for NASA'S Mission to Mars. In addition, she will get to hear from four keynote speakers – all are NASA Astronauts (two are women!). She will learn and experience so much. She is very excited about this camp.

As you know, something like this is expensive! Lexi will submit an essay in hopes of getting one of the scholarships, but at the most, it will pay up to 30% of the tuition only. She will have the rest of the tuition and the airfare/travel expenses. We would really appreciate any donations you would consider to help fund this fantastic opportunity for Lexi! Thank you!!
