Send Lucas and Jeremy to U24 Team USA Tryouts

Lucas and Jeremy are very excited to announce their invitations to San Diego, CA for USA Ultimate's Under-24 Team USA try outs! Although this is an incredibly exciting feat, it places the unfortunate burden of travel, lodging, food, and tryout costs entirely on the shoulders of Lucas and Jeremy. Our initial goal of $350 is in place to, at the very least, cover the tryout fee for both Lucas and Jeremy. Please consider showing your support for Lucas and Jeremy and wish them luck in representing Indiana on a national level!

Jeremy is a proud Center Grove alumni, playing in 2014-2018 and was a part of the Paideia Cup winning squad in 2018, as well as head coaching the inaugural season of the Center Grove Youth League in 2019. After high school, he went on to Indiana University, where he joined the Mama?s, playing every year and captaining from 2020-2022. He is currently still enrolled, and although he stepped down as a captain for 2023, he is operating as the Mama?s "offensive coordinator."

During his time at IU, he played in the AUDL for three years, two years for the hometown Indy AlleyCats, which sandwiched a year down south with the Austin Sol. In club, he has brief stints with several teams, including Indy Brickyard, Bloomington Blacksheep, a rag-tag Austin Doublewide (trouble wide) ESC team, and Kentucky Colonels.

A U24 team USA tryout has been Jeremy's goal for as long as he can remember. Representing his country and local community on a global scale is an idea that excites him, and he is grateful to have his chance to realize it in November.

Lucas began playing ultimate in 2018, when his younger brother introduced him to the community high school team. He fell in love with the sport, and went on to play 4 years at Indiana University with the HoosierMama?s. Lucas captained his college team from 2020-2022, alongside Jeremy. He now coaches the college's B team, as well as the Bloomington high school team.

Since starting the sport, Lucas has played in the AUDL for two years with the Indianapolis Alleycats. In the 2022 regular season, Lucas was 5th in the league in completions and 7th in throwing yards.

In club he has played for Indianapolis Brickyard, Bloomington Blacksheep, and most recently, the Kentucky Colonels.

The U24 team has been Lucas's dream since being introduced to the sport back in 2018. Having the opportunity to represent your country and your community on the National stage would be a rare privilege.
