Send Mama home to rest in peace

Donation protected
My dear friend Pauline lost her beloved mother, Mrs. Ntokotha, on 12-22-2022. I had the privilege of getting to know this lovely family over the last 5 years and am honored to be able to assist them in their time of need. I hope you will consider helping with funeral costs. The cost of being able to honor Mrs. Ntokotha's wishes for a traditional burial in Uganda, Africa is a tremendous expense for Pauline to shoulder by herself. Read about this wonderful woman below. And thank you in advance for your generosity.

Aguti, Joyce Mary Aliu, Agogo, Mama, Mrs. Ntokotha. Depending on your relationship with her, you may call her by any of those names. But no matter what you call her, you know that she would be there for you. Aguti, her birth name, was born in Uganda at a time when women did not generally become educated, but that did not stop her from pursuing an education at Gayaza, Kings College Budo and Makerere University. She traveled to the U.S. (Boston, UMass Amherst) to further her collegiate education and it was in the U.S. she met her husband Enoch Ntokotha, who was from Malawi. They raised their children in Malawi and Uganda while she pursued a career as an educator. In her long career, she taught at Tororo Girls, Lilongwe Girls, Soroti Secondary School, Lilongwe Private School, and Lilongwe Academy. She raised many children in her life as family was her greatest joy. She spent the last 4 years in the US with her daughter, Pauline and grandsons, Anthony and Mzati. She will be sorely missed by all who knew her.
Please consider donating to send our beloved Mama back to Uganda to be laid to rest as per her custom and her final wish of going Home.
