Send Maureen Home with Love and Dignity

August 20th, 2024, the world lost an amazing woman and one of the most caring souls to grace the earth, Maureen Ngina Chege Kamala. In her short 37 years, she touched so many hearts and enriched so many lives. She would fill any room with love when she walked in and leave you laughing on her way out. Now it is our turn to help return the love she granted so many of us.

As you know, Maureen was a very proud Kenyan woman, and within her culture, they have services in America for those close to her here to honor her. Then they will have to transport the body to Kenya to have a service for family members there before she is laid to rest in her home. This is very grueling for the family in more ways than one, and it would be nice to help ease at least the financial part of it as much as possible.

I had the fortune to meet the family this week, and let me say, I know why Maureen was so filled with love; she came from it. Please help me send Maureen, my sister, home with the same love she showed all of us. #TeamMaureen
