Miss Florida Gator's Journey to Miss Florida

Greetings everyone! I am Imari Harris, Miss Florida Gator 2023! On December 31, 2022, I wrote on my vision board "I will win a title in the Miss America Organization" and I am so honored to be able to stand before you today and say I accomplished that goal. Through this organization, I have been able to start my own mentorship program entitled "Vote Pink!" With this program, I have been able to work with the Pace Center for Girls in Alachua County providing young women who hope to enter the field of criminal justice with the resources and support they need to thrive in the field. If I were to earn the honor of being crowned Miss Florida 2023 I would have the unique opportunity to represent the Sunshine state on the Miss America Stage. So please join me on the journey to the Miss Florida Crown as I take the Miss Florida Stage for the very first time!
