Send NHS Speech and Debate to the TOC

The 2023-2024 season has been a historical year for Northview's Speech and Debate program, marking the first time the school's won a state title in the policy division, advanced two teams to undefeated records rounds at major national tournaments, and attended the coveted Pace Round Robin---which is limited to only 7 total invitations (nationwide) each year.
Above all, this year we will be sending our largest number of students to the Tournament of Champions, hosted annually by the University of Kentucky. The tournament is amongst one of the most prestigious accomplishments a high school debater can obtain, and functions as a culminating event that brings together the highest ranked teams from across the country to compete against one another. For reference, each student must earn at least 2 bids to qualify, which are each obtained through placing at national tournaments throughout the season.
Unfortunately, financial constraints remain prevalent and are impairing our ability to actualize many of these accomplishments. Our program isn't funded at all by the school unlike other clubs, athletics, etc. The weight of the finances is left entirely to the shoulders of students and teachers. Our coaches are teachers. Regular teachers who have to handle in-school demands, coupled with the strain of running behind on finances and worrying about logistics, just to ensure that our students can get their feet through the door at tournaments . Even past that, we've had too many instances of people being hesitant to join or leaving the club simply because finances were too much to bear.
Your donations will go towards covering entry fees, transportation and hotel fees to and from the University of Kentucky, and judging fees in correspondence to the number of students attending, which will be especially high this time around.
Any help is greatly appreciated and will aid towards realizing program history. Thank you.
Sincerely,
