Send Ninja Pretzel Turbo Shots to Global Finals!!

We are the “Ninja Pretzel Turbo Shots” from Melrose, MA and we participate in Destination Imagination (DI) —an educational program that helps us learn valuable skills like creative and critical thinking, problem-solving and teamwork through different STEAM-based (science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics) challenges. The hallmark of DI is “no interference.” We work completely independently on our creative ideas and trial-and-error solutions to challenges. Parents do not assist us with costumes, props, scripts, or ideas.

For the last 5 years, we have worked together as a team (without help from adults) and overcome many obstacles. We raised money to plant trees in our community entirely on our own, competed remotely for several years during the pandemic, and now finally as 8th graders we achieved a top score in the state tournament.

We are excited to announce that we have the opportunity to present at Global Finals on May 20-24 —an international competition where we will compete against teams from around the globe. This year, Global Finals will take place in Kansas City, Missouri. Teams that attend Global Finals are responsible for their own fundraising to cover their costs (registration fee, travel, room, and board, etc.). Therefore, our team is looking for funds to support our efforts in taking our award-winning solution to compete against the best in the world. We would greatly appreciate if you could help fund our participation.
