Send our InvestiGators to VEX Robotics Worlds!
Donation protected
I am the principal of Guion Creek Elementary School in the MSD of Pike Township, Indianapolis. I am excited about introducing you to our InvestiGators - an energetic group of third, fourth, and fifth graders with a strong work ethic and love for robotics. These students have worked their gator tails off to excel in the arena of VEX Robotics and are now gearing up to attend the VEX IQ World Championship in Dallas, Texas! Our InvestiGators have earned two Judges Awards, an Excellence Award, and a Design Award in various competitions. These future engineers have designed, built and programmed two robots to drive through a course of challenges. At the State Finals, they were recognized with the Think Award - a technical award given to teams with impressive and effective autonomous programming.
The VEX World Competition is a fantastic opportunity to collaborate and learn with peers from other countries. The InvestiGators will spend a week in Dallas, competing and engaging with teams from all backgrounds. Such an enriching experience comes with a hefty price. We don’t want the price tag to deter our students from being able to participate. Please consider sponsoring this ambitious group. Donations will help pay for registration, travel, and lodging costs.
In the last two years, our teams qualified for Worlds and competed virtually because of the pandemic. Our goal is to raise $20,000 to cover the costs for our students to attend the 2022 World Championship. At the end of the 2022 World Finals, any funds that remain will be used for equipment and future competitions for our robotics teams.
Our school community thanks you for your support!
