Send Paraguay to the World Cup of Pickleball!

This is a historic moment for pickleball in Paraguay! A country where the sport is less than a year old and there is only one regulation sized court. A small band of pioneers is growing the sport quickly and forming the first national team - with hopes of competing in the World Cup of Pickleball in Lima, Peru at the end of October!
The full cost of the trip is likely around $10,000 - but my goal is to raise $5,000 here while the team members will finance the rest with personal funds and local sponsors. If we surpass the goal, we will use extra funds for paddles, nets, and other gear to spread the sport. One near term goal is to donate a court to a public park.
When Lillie and I moved back to Paraguay a couple of months ago, we hoped we would be able to continue playing pickleball. As luck would have it, we arrived just as the sport is getting started and it’s been so fun to see people get hooked and discover the joy of this amazing sport.
Whether you’ve played before or not, I hope you’ll chip in to help the first ever national team be represented at this tournament next month - AND to help us build community through the growth of pickleball in Paraguay.
