Send Peris to School!

Meet Peris Chemeli Lenjuloti, a 15 year old girl from Lorubae Village in Kenya. She aspires to be a lawyer when she grows up and wants to educate her community about FGM laws. Peris is the top of her class at her local primary school and scored a 335 on the national exams.

Our purpose is to raise money for Peris to be able to continue her education into High School and fulfill her dreams. No donation is too small. Please spread the word and help us change Peris's life.  

More information about Pastoralist Child Foundation: The mission of Pastoralist Child Foundation is to eradicate Female Genital Mutilation (FGM) and forced early marriages in rural communities in Kenya, primarily Samburu and Maasai Mara regions. Through mobilization and education, Pastoralist Child Foundation replaces harmful practices with Alternative Rites of Passage, and sponsors girls' education at the primary and secondary school levels. Pastoralist Child Foundation's educational workshops are provided in very remote areas at the grassroots level. Workshops focus on FGM, child marriage, teen pregnancy, HIV/AIDS, sanitation, sexual & reproductive health, self-awareness, self-confidence, child rights, and the importance of formal education.
