Send Peter Roberto Cudjoe a Loving Farewell

Hi . My name is Talea E. Wufka but I am not alone in this quest to send our Beloved Peter aka Cudjoe , Guty Man , Jap , aka The Loving soul a Fond, Humane and loving farewell. To know Cudjoe was to love him. Peter was perhaps one of the kindest and most addictive souls one could ever meet. To know him was to love him and likewise.

He was gracious with everything except his food. Jk , Aiming to bring light into the darkess based on knowing many hearts are broken behind this including My Mothers and all his family and friendships. For years Pete struggled with addictions which led him to incarceration but even with that, he struggled to make a difference inspiring others to hold on to the faith of the Lord and most of all have faith in themselves. He inspired others to smile, even when they felt they were alone.

Pete was gifted at an early age, he rocked the turntables. He could take an old tape mix it with another and Pop a tune. His first love was indeed Music. He turned tables at the famous USA alongside ' Baby J', he had a boom box before we even knew they existed. I can, We can see him sitting in 78th street park playing that radio surrounded by the friends he gained from the age of 6 upon entrance to the USA. Raised in the Melting Pot of the world, something was in the water, it was called immigrants and diversity.

His upbringing and diversity groomed him to See people as people. It also inspired him to even in incarceration, not Stop making music. He would yup find a way through my Mother to get instruments, keyboards in and he would join forces with people such as Bang Em Smurf, Shine, The Blidge Family and Mustafa , Mysonne and many others to even though behind the gates of hell, the Sun would shine upon making the Music.

In the midst of this, his liver went bad and right when that moment came, the Lord would send him the blessing of a liver. He suffered intensely, in and out of hospitals but held onto his faith.

Upon his release, he continued with the Dream, alongside his childhood Bestie, Spank and his artist, Lionel. Hopefully, even though he took his journey, greatness will come from his passing. Two days before him taking his journey we would share a two-hour conversation. Respectfully, we chatted about our humble beginnings exchanging laughter. What stands out is his mention of his first friendships, Chilly, Speedy, Henry, Tommy Lee , Jack and Drack. He made mention of being that kid again and their Abeula . He said as a little kid that house would be the escape route when he felt overwhelmed and just needed that space, moment and clarity. The Senora ( Bless her soul ) would always say to me, I pray for Peter as soon as I walked through the door. He spoke on Dino, Pankemou, Lefty and Of course his Yonkers Crew + his ex Tracy. It's almost as if he knew the end was nearing. Forgive me for not mentioning all the names called out, I am overwhelmed aiming to accept I no- longer have that big brother who was my first playmate and my best friend.

Days Prior Denise and I had this chat and she went on and on expressing Pete to be her homie and big bro- ski , so perhaps in his way, he was touching us all because Pete would never dare leave us without reaching out. He would want his loved ones to know no matter what he Loved and cherished them.

It was requested by many for me to start this go- fund and I am humbled to do so, for a Beautiful soul, it is my honor and by far we know I am Rich in spirit but not in Pocket. On behalf of My mother, My Sister Suzy, our family, extended family and friends to ask for what is in your heart to contribute to throwing him, his last and final viewing with dignity.
