HELP SEND BIGGERA WATERS ROBOTICS TEAMS TO SYDNEY
Donation protected
The VEX Robotics is the largest Robotics Competition in the world, with 1600 teams and 41 countries competing. Sponsors such as NASA, Tesla, Boston Dynamics, Google and Dell.
With the help of a dedicated teacher, Biggera Waters State School have 4 teams with a total of 15 students that qualified for the National Championship in December.
The children have showed real team work with the older children mentoring and encouraging the younger members and getting them to this exciting level of competition.
One of the teams won the National competition last year and went on to finish 5th in the world.
One of the teams has the youngest members (eight years of age) and is currently ranked 8th in Australia.
We are fundraising to cover travelling expenses for 15 students who recently qualified and we have a short time frame to get them to the competition. We would love your support so that our kids can compete at the National Championships. If they succeed at Nationals – next step is Texas, USA!
Please help our future entrepreneurs and engineers to fly down to Sydney.
If we raise enough funds to cover travelling expenses, we will donate any surplice to our school's STEAM Academy program.
