The Committee for a Workers' International (CWI) Summer School is an incredible opportunity to learn from struggles happening all across the globe-- whether it's lessons from the struggle for abortion rights in Ireland, the student general strike in Spain, or the #TaxAmazon victory in Seattle, members of the CWI are doing inspiring work all across the world.
Here in Chicago, Socialist Alternative has been able to make waves starting with huge marches in support for Bernie Sanders and continuing with the resistance against Trump. We're currently working to build a movement for affordable housing as people are being pushed out of their homes due to big developers and rising rents. We hope to garner all the lessons we can to continue to fight the Chicago Machine!
