For nearly five years, I’ve been living with excruciating back pain that has made even the simplest tasks feel impossible and left me unable to work. Day after day, the pain persists, and despite my best efforts, I’ve found myself stuck in a system that seems unable to provide the help I urgently need.

I've been waiting for surgery within the Canadian healthcare system for almost five years. Sadly, during this time, I've been given false hope after false hope, with little to no progress. My family and I are beyond exhausted, with no clear path forward and no relief from the daily struggle. The pain is constant and overwhelming.

However, a recent consultation with surgeons from Germany has given me new hope. They’ve confirmed that I’m a candidate for a surgery that could drastically improve my quality of life. This procedure could finally free me from this unrelenting pain and allow me to enjoy the simple pleasures in life once again.
