Send some Sea Serpents to the Union Cup
Donation protected
The Brighton and Hove Sea Serpents RFC is the only rugby club in Sussex specifically set up to give LGBT individuals a way into the sport without having to worry about the stigma wrongly associated with being LGBT.
In April, the Union Cup is being held in Birmingham for all rugby clubs with a specific LGBT status and we are planning to send a squad of 25 players to this tournament. A minibus, hire and fuel (and parking) will cost us about £500 so we are hoping to cover this through a sponsored swim.
As a start to the new year, and our fundraising work for this, we are going for a swim on New Year’s day. It’ll blast the cobwebs away and start to prepare us on the journey to Birmingham.
Why not support us as we use the left over fat from our Christmas roast potatoes to give ourselves some insulation from the cold.
We will live stream the cold dip at 1pm on New Year’s day!
