Send Teens to Football Camp in Alex's Honor

Alex Knepper Memorial Scholarship Fund :

A one-time collection to award an ongoing yearly scholarship sending disadvantaged middle school students to an overnight Washington Commanders sponsored football training camp.

Dear Family, Friends, and Friends of Family,

In celebration of and with love for Alex – son, brother, and friend, we strive to honor his intense passion, dedication, intrigue, and spirit for sports with an ongoing scholarship fund. The fund will send one or more middle school students, each summer, to a one week overnight training camp organized by the Washington Commanders – Jonathan Allen Football Camp (https://www.footballcamps.com/footballcamps/virginia/overview). Applications will be submitted to and collected by this organization. In turn, they will forward qualifying applications to us for final review and selection.

It is our hope that this scholarship will afford the opportunity for many students to attend this camp, over the course of many years to come. Further, it is our way of giving the gift of hope, inspiration, and development to these students. In one way or another, Alex has been a gift to us all. His spirit is with us and for sure on the Washington Commanders Football Field. HTTR Alex, we love you!
