Help send the Farnham Heath End History buffs to Vienna !

I am the Head of History at Farnham Heath End and we are fundraising to send our team of History buffs to Vienna.

On Saturday 1st February, these students competed at the London edition of the History Bowl and Bee tournament competing against some of the most prestigious independent schools in the UK including Eton College, Tonbridge School and City of London School. The FHES 14-16 age category team defeated Eton College in the final and the age 10-12 team (which included one student from William Cobbett Primary School) finished 3rd in their competition. FHES were the only state school competing in this tournament making these achievements even more remarkable.

As a result of this success, the team have qualified for the European Academic Championships taking place in Vienna from 30th May-1st June where they will compete against schools from across Europe, Central Asia and the Middle East. The funds will be used to take both teams to Vienna and pay towards flights, accommodation, entry fees, local transport and meals so that the team can go to Austria to represent Farnham and the South East.
