The JavaScouts are a fourth year team in the First Tech Challenge comprised of over 5,000 teams worldwide. Our seven student members have been working hard this season create not just an amazing robot, but an amazing team dedicated to sharing robotics and STEM with youth in our community. This season alone, the JavaScouts have performed over 650 hours of community outreach.
All the effort has paid off. At the Excelsior Region championship in New York, we competed agains 24 other great teams and earned one of the three spots to go to the World Championship in Detroit this April.

As exciting as it is for this opportunity, it comes with a significant financial burden. Registration cost for the team alone is $2,000. As you can imagine, hotel and transportation costs for the team's families for the 4 days of competition will be very high, and we want to make sure everyone can take part. Your generous donation can help make that happen
This is a once in a lifetime opportunity for the youth of our team and something they will never forget. Not only is it a major accomplishment they can put on their college applications, but it is a memory that they will look back upon the rest of their lives.
Any help you can give is greatly appreciated. No amount is too small. If you cannot afford to support us financially then please feel free to cheer us on as we go for the gold!
