Send the Minnesota Uncommitted Delegation to Chicago

On March 5, over 45,000 Minnesotans voted "Uncommitted" in the Minnesota Democratic Presidential Primary to send a clear message to President Biden: We are uncommitted to supporting your re-election while you supply and fund Israel's campaign of genocide in Palestine. These Minnesotans' vote of dissent won 11 delegates + 1 alternate to the Democratic National Convention in Chicago [Monday, August 19 to Thursday, August 22, 2024], the largest uncommitted delegation of any state in the country.

With a groundswell of support across the state, hundreds of uncommitted state delegates elected the 11 uncommitted national delegates and 1 alternate through DFL (Democratic) Party conventions in Minnesota over the last weeks (writing as of June 12, 2024). Our uncommitted national delegation also elected members to sit on the Credentials Committee and Rules Committee of the Democratic National Convention.

Our delegation and committee members represent the diversity of our movement for justice in Palestine - Jewish, Muslim, Christian, and unaffiliated; immigrant and U.S.-born; longtime party leaders and first-time delegates; and activists grounded in the labor and LGBTQ+ liberation movements.

Together with the 24 uncommitted delegates from other states, collectively representing nearly 750,000 Democratic primary voters, we will faithfully carry the movement for a Free Palestine into the heart of the Democratic National Convention. We will maximize our message in this forum, including working with Biden delegates committed to ending the genocide in Palestine.

But to get to Chicago, the Minnesota Uncommitted Delegation needs to raise $20,000. Being a national delegate costs around $3,500 per person, with little meaningful financial support available through the state party.
