Sk is closing and it’s sooner than expected!

Dayv and Louie run one of the best bars in Melbourne, filling a very special niche between good beer and fun indie games. Unfortunately, the beloved Bar SK  is closing and its legendary team are going their separate ways.

Bar SK has been an important part of my life in the last 4 years. I'm part of the chiptune community and we've co-opted it as our second home. I've run events there, (including my wedding reception) so, I want to make up for all the free events these guys have let me run (and for other people, the games they have showcased, beers they have launched, and love they have given to the game community) by helping to raise money for them to have a farewell trip together, wind down from the insanity and long hours of bar running, and helping them have a last opportunity to either, spend some quality time together before they go their separate ways or in light of corona virus forcing their hand and shutting up early, you know, just pay the bills?

SK is closing early so we had 6 weeks to raise enough money for them to plan a kick ass trip but now it’s a matter of getting through them a forced early closure. So if you have ever ran an event, launched a beer or a game, had a great night, met a new friend, been given happy hour prices when happy hour closed 15 minutes ago or just regretted not tipping these two excellent blokes, now is your chance to buy them a beer.
