Send UHS Theatre to International Theatre Fest

Donation protected
Urbana High School Theatre recently performed the production Theory of Relativity by Neil Bartram and Brian Hill. This production included around 25 incredibly talented high school student performers and technicians. Every year, eleven high schools from the U.S. and Canada are chosen to be featured on the main stage at the International Thespian Festival in Bloomington, Indiana. We are proud to share that UHS Theatre’s fall production of The Theory of Relativity was chosen as one of these eleven. This means that our production has been chosen as one of the eleven best shows in educational theatre in the nation. We are so very proud of our kids and this elite honor that has been awarded to the program.

However, in order to attend we need to raise money to rent equipment, transport the set, transport all of the students and staff, and pay for each student and chaperone to attend. It costs about $1000 to send each student and each adult to the festival. This covers the cost of food and lodging. While we will be doing many fundraisers, for this GoFundMe our goal is to raise the money to send 5 students to the festival at full cost!

We appreciate any amount you can donate. Please spread the word to help us perform at the International Thespian Festival!
