“Hi everybody, we are a band that plays the Brave New Blues. In fact we just won the 2024 Boston Blues Challenge and that means we have a spot to compete in the Blues Foundation’s International Blues Challenge that’s in Memphis Tennessee January 7-11, 2025, with 200 other bands from around the world.
For the grand finale we all set up at once and play Louie Louie for an hour or until someone gets a nosebleed.
Prizes include bookings on some choice festivals and the ability to time travel, although only forward at the rate of 1 second per second.
But we gotta get ourselves there first and that’s where you come in.
We need your money. That’s right I want you to get your car right now go to the bank empty your bank account and on the way home rob a liquor store. Then you’re gonna take all that money and stick it in this here GoFundMe campaign.

Troy & Hadley are a power duo. A two-piece band with a mighty and full sound.
They play the “Brave New Blues”.
Troy Mercy toured the planet as lead guitarist with the Fabulous Thunderbirds, and Booker T. Jones. With this new band Troy steps up to sing his original material.
Drummer Hadley Lloyd is relatively new to the stage-performing scene. She comes to Boston via Chicago, IL. Hadley is quickly building a reputation for being one of the most thrilling drummers in New England.
