Hi! My name is Yasmin Wamala. I am currently a junior at Hofstra University that has presented with an amazing opportunity. Every summer, the School of Communications at Hofstra has a month-long study abroad trip to Rome. I am eligible to participate in said trip and my mom is all for it. The only issue, studying aboard is NOT cheap.

It's a goal of mine to see and experience as much of the world as possible in my lifetime and a study abroad trip is an amazing way to work towards that. The goal I've set for this campaign is only half of the total amount of money I need to make this dream a reality. There is no way I could place this all on my mother, as she's paying for my college education on her own and does so much for me in general. Of course I'm doing what I can to help, but you only make so much money from an on campus job.

Being that I am getting ready to be a senior, this is unfortunately a now or never type situation.
