Send Corry to Asian Tour Q School!
Donation protected
In April 2014, Corry Webster traded in the Northern Alberta oil rigs after 10 years, to pursue his life long dream of becoming a professional golfer. Corry, Stephanie & their 4 month old son, at the time, made a life altering decision, and quickly moved to Phoenix, Arizona.
Corry received conditional status by placing 24th at the OneAsia Q School in February 2015 in Malaysia, after training for only 45 days with coaches in Phoenix.
Over the past few months, Corry has been waiting for an invitation and opportunity to play in one of the scheduled events for the 2015 OneAsia Tour Season.
As of September 24th, Corry received news that he has been accepted into the Fiji International, scheduled on October 15-18th in Nadi, Fiji. Unforunately, we have received news that Corry would only be eligible as an alternate. He has the option to be an onsite reserve, waiting for another player to withdraw from the tournament. Because it is no longer a guarantee that Corry will be playing in the Fiji International, he has decided not fly to Fiji and not to take the risk as an onsite alternate. We have yet to hear of an explanation from the president of the OneAsia Tour and for the confusion.
All donations will be forwarded to Corry's new fund, "Send Corry to the Asian Tour Qualifying School" in Hua Hin, Thailand scheduled in January 2016. Donations will be used for flight & registration fees, where he will again compete for full status on the Asia Tour for the 2016 season.
We are so very thankful for all the donations and for supporting Corry, not only for Fiji, but in his golf career and for giving him financial support to gain experience and have these opportunities.
If anyone would like their donations back, please let us know.
