For as long as I can remember, my mom has always said that one day she’s going to go on an Alaskan cruise. It’s been a dream of hers.
She is the most selfless person that I know, always going above and beyond for her family, friends, and those around her. She rarely prioritizes herself, hence all of these years, and she still hasn’t made her trip to Alaska.
I want to change that. This year, to celebrate her birthday and to show her how grateful we are for her, I want to raise the money to send her on a 7 day Alaskan cruise.
She may be slightly horrified that I am raising money on her behalf, but she deserves the world and I know it will be a birthday she won’t forget.
$2,500 will cover the majority of airfare and a portion of the 7-9 day cruise package. Because she loves to plan the details of trips herself, we will give her the raised money and she can book it herself.

My plan is to have those who are interested be present for a “video chat” unveiling on her birthday, so that we can all be together when she receives it.
