Sending Our Guy Wilson 'Buck' Garrett Home

Peace and respect to everyone who is reading this message. On July 2nd, 2023, our family received a call to come to Fort Washington Hospital in regards to our beloved Buck. With hope in our hearts because of how much we loved him, we raced out. It didn’t seem real when I heard that he had passed. Just the other day he’s talking about his show that’s a couple weeks away. Always felt corny to me when people would say,”you’re not promised tomorrow”. I will see that differently now.

Buck had a very straight-forward mindset and loved with a very big heart. Many whom spoke of their interactions with him would share a moment when he came through for them in some way and showed them love. Buck had many friendships that lasted decades. Some of these friendships evolved from him creating multiple bands and those bonds will be everlasting. Not only was our world affected deeply by Buck's passing, but the Go-Go world was affected too. His band, Publicity, was just starting to get their groove back!

Many of us know that he enjoyed eating out with his loved ones so that he could catch up and love on you. There is just too much to share when it comes to Buck about how much he did for his family and his circle of friends. He loved us all.

Our family wishes to lay our beloved Buck to rest. Due to the suddenness and the unfortunate timing of his passing, we are asking for assistance from anyone who can help us lay him to rest. Any help you could offer would be sincerely appreciated. We hope you keep us and his friends in your prayers and we thank you for your generosity. Love you all.
