Sending Rajkumar body to his single mom

My name is Sakhina Adhikari KC, and I’m raising funds with a heavy heart for my cousin brother, Rajkumar 24, who sadly passed away on the 14th of April, 2025 Nepali new year day and a day before his 25th birthday, at Zenith Beach, Shoal Bay in Sydney.

Rajkumar was a bright, kind-hearted young man who had been living in Australia for the past several years in hopes of building a better future. Tragically, his life was cut short far from home. What makes this even more heartbreaking is that his mother—his only parent—has not seen him in the last 7 years. Rajkumar was her only child, and she raised him alone with immense love and sacrifice.

We are trying our best to raise enough funds to send his body back to Nepal so his mother can see her son one last time and give him a proper farewell. No mother should have to go through this, but the least we can do is make sure he returns home to her.

The funds will go directly toward repatriation costs, including transportation of his body, legal and embassy processes, and funeral arrangements in Nepal.

Any help, no matter the amount, would mean the world to us. Please keep Rajkumar and his mother in your thoughts and prayers.

Dear friends, family, and kind supporters,

From the bottom of my heart, thank you to everyone who has donated, shared, and supported this fundraiser for my cousin brother, Rajkumar. Your kindness during this incredibly difficult time has meant so much to our family.

As many of you know, Rajkumar tragically passed away on April 14th at Zenith Beach, Shoal Bay in Sydney. His sudden loss has left a deep void, especially for his mother in Nepal. She raised him as a single parent and hadn’t seen him in over 7 years. Rajkumar was not only her only child — he was the only person she had to depend on in this world.

Due to the overwhelming love and support we’ve received so far, I have increased the fundraising target. The additional funds will go toward helping Rajkumar’s mother with financial support as she navigates this painful time without her son.

This gesture of support from all of you truly means the world to her. Even though nothing can replace the loss of a child, your generosity helps lift some of the burden she now faces.

Final Goodbye to our beloved bhai RAJKUMAR(Bhanij bhai)

Before Rajkumar is taken to Nepal, we will be holding a final farewell to honour his memory and say our last goodbyes.
