Hello , as many of you already know Rebecca Sue Durham took her last breathe here on earth , and took her first steps on our new journey May 26th 2022.

She was a fighter and fought a long fight over the years . She beat breast cancer over 30 years ago , she has been overcoming every other illness that has crossed her path and still was the main caregiver for her son Jacob , also being a wonderful wonderful mother to her children and a amazing “Grandma” Honey to her beautiful grand babies . She was here to see her three girls become mommas themselves . Her daughter Jamie has four beautiful children, Her daughter Kyla has three children, her daughter Mary has two children and Rebecca made sure to see Jacob start becoming more independent since they’re moved to Minnesota seven years ago. These last few years her health wasn’t the best but she was a fighter , she fought so hard . NEVER GIVING UP !!

Last year she got diagnosed with stage four lung cancer , and we all were so hopefully she would kick it butts just like she did when she had breast cancer . However , about 20 days ago she went to the hospital unexpectedly for breathing concerns, each day passing we were hopeful she would pull through and be able to go home like always. About a week into her hospital stay she was placed on a ventilator. By day 14 of her being
on the ventilator our family was informed that it was time. Time to say goodbye and let our mother , our friend, our grandma go continue her new journey . None of us were ready for this , she’s been sick for years and always pulls through.

With her passing comes a lot of financial burden on the whole family, Jacob lived with my mother, and relied on her for everything. We are now asking for any help to get her mother cremated, to have a small service, and to help with the backpay of bills, and to get our brother Jacob on his feet.

You are never prepared to lose a love one, especially a mother, the person who brought you into this world.

So , I’m asking now as our family is grieving if you can help at all please, we are struggling as a family to hold it together during this emotional time and financial burden should be the last thing that any of us have to worry about.
