Sending Rice Club Tennis to Nationals
Donation protected
Rice Club Tennis is a competitive club sport organization that represents Rice University in tennis tournaments against club teams from other organizations.
Starting three years ago, Rice's club tennis team has consistently qualified as one of Texas's top three teams to represent the state at the national level - an unprecedented feat in Rice University's history.
However, the expenses to register and send students to represent the university and the state at the national tournament are much larger than the club's funds obtained through member dues and money given by the university.
We are raising money to fund travel and lodging costs (approximately $4,000) for the nine players who will be representing Rice University and the state of Texas at the national tournament. This year, the tournament will be held in Surprise, AZ from April 10th to April 13th.
