Justice For Sativa

Spende geschützt
Thank you for helping us to fight for Justice!

**Sept. 8th: We had an intermediate hearing, but due to a failure by the courts to have documents to Taylor within 15 days before court, he was able to postpone again. We now have the next hearing Thanksgiving Day 11/24/22

**July 22nd: we’re still waiting for a trial date for All evidence to be presented, and after that another date will be when he is sentenced. We are still fighting as hard as we can for the Justice our sweet Sativa deserves

**April 1st: Taylor was granted two more months to “investigate”

**December 23rd : A little glimmer of hope, our lawyer let us know the judge assigned to the case is the most strict judge out of the 5 there. We still won’t stop fighting for justice

*December 9th: Sativa is in Washington and will hopefully be at peace The costs of fighting for justice are still adding up, and we appreciate everyone’s help so much!!

**As of December 8th we retained the lawyer for Sativa’s full case to work with the prosecutor, be sure no one is being paid off, make sure all evidence is submitted, and be sure Justice is served. This process could take up to two years**

*The information and expenses are changing so much. We have found out as of December 6th we now have to obtain a lawyer in Mexico to even find out why they won’t release Sativa’s body. We will keep everyone updated as we find out concrete information*

I know this is so sudden and such a shock for everyone who cared about my sister, Sativa Transue. I will share the details we have at the moment, but it’s not much yet.

My sister left with her boyfriend for Cancun Mexico on Thanksgiving. She arrived there safely. She sent beautiful pictures of the views on Friday, told me she was enjoying the sunshine, was snap chatting my daughter Amelia. Everything was fine. She was fine.

Later Friday night Sativa sent texts to her friends. Her boyfriend and her at some point had gotten into an altercation and stitches were needed for Sativa. She couldn’t recall what happened.

Saturday morning my sisters friends were so concerned when they still hadn’t heard from her first thing that they went to the police department, and then took any information they had to the FBI. We are so grateful for those friends.

Unfortunately we got the call around 9 am that she had passed away.

Sativa’s boyfriend, Taylor Allen, has been charged with Femicide and is in Mexican Prison. His lawyer is now having my sisters body and belongings held. An advocate that traveled to Mexico to identify her and bring her home are now having to stay there until they will release her

This was so unexpected. She was fine when I went to sleep Friday, and wasn’t when I woke up Saturday. We want answers and justice for Sativa as well as for everyone who knew her. We need help with the costs of bringing her body and belongings back to the United States so she can get the peace she deserves.

We cannot thank everyone enough for donating

Any left over funds will be donated to a domestic violence charity in Sativa’s name. If anyone is struggling with domestic violence please reach out to your loved ones and let them know. Don’t wait until it’s too late
