Senegal Basketball Camp 2017

Over the last two years, I’ve traveled back home and held basketball training camps, free of charge, in surrounding neighborhoods of Dakar to give back to my country's youth. During these sessions, I’ve been able to meet players with strong character from all over Senegal and desire to pursue their passion of playing basketball and continue their education. Their hope is to  go to college in the United States.
In June 2017, I plan to host another free basketball camp for kids in Senegal, but this time more officially and on a larger scale. This next camp will host thirty kids, ages 13-17 years old, over two weeks. In order to put this into action, this year’s goal is to raise a total of $12,000. Thanks to those who support the vision to provide educational and basketball opportunities for youth in Senegal, $5,000 has been pledged, along with all basketball gear to be given to the kids at camp, including shoes, jerseys, backpacks, socks, and basketballs.

I would appreciate any amount of support to raise the additional $7,000 to reach my goal. Your generous donation would help with gym rentals, food for campers, and travel expenses for flights, shipping materials, transportation and room and board throughout Senegal.
