Senior Pug With Severe Health Problems

Hello all, my name is Shannon and I’ve created this fundraiser to help my best friend. Anyone who knows me knows that my Pug is my everything. Lucy is the absolute light of my world. She brings joy to everyone that she encounters and I would do anything to give her a shot at the best life possible.

Lucy is an 11 year old adopted Pug with severe health problems. She has kidney disease and a collapsed trachea which causes her to cough.

Despite all of Lucy’s health problems, she radiates warmth and has much life left in her.

Most recently, I found out that Lucy has dental disease which requires a Grade 3 Dental Prophylaxis. This is a procedure that will both significantly improve her current quality of life AND give her a shot at a longer life. I was told by the veterinarian that eventually she won’t be able to eat if the issue goes unaddressed.

The procedure is estimated to cost between $1173.97 and $2057.86. Unfortunately, I can’t afford to pay for her procedure by myself. So, here I am, asking that you please consider helping Lucy in any way that you possibly can.

I have addressed all of Lucy’s other health concerns and sincerely believe that this procedure will change her life for the better.
