Seniors in dire straits!

Hi my name is Bruce and my wife’s name is Amy. We are a Senior couple (55 and 61). In February of 2023 I lost my job of 24 years due to a post-Covid down-sizing. We were hoping I’d be called back but it never happened. I have applied for literally hundreds of open positions, gotten one interview and was not offered the position. I believe my age may be a factor. So now we are in dire straits. Amy’s income is not enough to support us and I am a year away from being able to get SSI. We are now 3 months behind on our mortgage and struggling with the rest of the bills including a crazy high HOA monthly fee. We are in fear of losing our home and have nowhere to go.

Please help us… anything at all would be gratefully appreciated. Help us not be thrown out on the street!
