Seniors Need Housing

People aged 55+ who live in the region of Thompson, Manitoba are facing a dilemma. There is a serious shortage of barrier-free / accessible housing suitable for their needs. I am helping to raise money to build Lions Manor 55 in Thompson, Manitoba.  We have formed a non-profit board to see this 30-unit project through. Construction has started, but we still need to raise a considerable amount by the end of summer. This housing will allow grandparents to stay close to their grandchildren, rather than having to move away. It will allow people to continue living in a region they love. It will help the community at large by keeping a very important segment of our population resident with us. Please help this project. It will mean so much the seniors of Thompson.
